Bridgit named Fintech Lender of the Year at the MFAA National Awards

L-R: Stephen Doyle, Chief Commercial Officer, Bridgit; Amber Usher, Business Development Manager VIC/TAS, Bridgit; Anesti Gunella, Business Development Manager VIC/TAS, Bridgit; Jamie Stevenson, State Manager VIC/TAS, Bridgit.

Bridgit has been named Fintech Lender of the Year at the 2026 MFAA National Awards, capping off a night that recognised the company's growing role in supporting brokers and their clients across the country.

The national win follows Bridgit's success at the state level, where it was named Fintech Lender of the Year across VIC/TAS, WA, QLD and NSW/ACT.

Aaron Bassin, Bridgit’s Co-Founder & CEO, said on the announcement; “To be recognised on a national stage by one of our industry's leading bodies is a huge moment for us but it wouldn’t be possible without the people who believe in our product, our services and what we can deliver.

Being classed as a fintech isn’t just something we say we do, it’s the fundamentals of what we built this business on. We’re investing in making our products better every single day and equipping our team on how to streamline the lending process for our brokers and customers.”

Bridgit now works with more than 19,000 brokers nationwide, helping support thousands of clients as they navigate their next move. Whether that's buying before selling, funding a renovation, or bridging the gap between transactions. The company has built its reputation on speed and simplicity, underpinned by its AI-driven lending platform.

The MFAA National Awards recognise excellence across the mortgage and finance broking industry, with categories judged on innovation, service, and impact on the broker channel. Bridgit's win in the Fintech Lender category reflects its position as one of the fastest-growing non-bank lenders in the bridging finance space.
